Royal Palm Beach, Fla. — Professional football will once again call the Palm Beaches its home this spring.
And while It’s not the NFL, helping players get there is what the Palm Beach Crush have set out to do.
"I instill that in every one of these gentlemen out here – that you never know," said head coach Darnell Williams.
Palm Beach is the newest member of the Professional Developmental Football League . It aims to help players advance to the next level – whether it’s the Arena Football League, the Canadian Football League or the NFL.
"For me, if I can just send one to that next level then I’ve done my job," Williams added.
"We are a developmental league, just like minor league baseball or like D-League basketball," said Christian Alba, the 21-year-old owner of the Crush.
Alba’s a graduate of Royal Palm Beach High School where the Crush will play their home games this season. READ MORE
