Carolina Knights Added Protection In The Backfield

When Knights head coach Shawn Wood saw Kelvin Sessoms work out earlier this month he had to see his blocking skills first hand. Wood, played fullback in college, grabbed a blocking dummy and instructed Sessoms to block him. When he exploded through the bag and knocked Wood back a few steps, coach Wood knew he found his fullback.

The Carolina Knights signed Kelvin Sessom for the 2013 season. Kelvin is from Nashville, NC where he played at Northern Nash High School. He earned a scholarship and played at Winston Salem State University. READ MORE
